Overhead Door Co. of Indianapolis & Muncie gets involved in the local community! We are proud to have been a part of the Habitat for Humanity build with Arbor Homes in Indianapolis. The home was recently completed—just this month. Below are pictures of the progress and completed home.

Overhead Door is featured in the movie Heaven is for Real, which hit movie theaters in the United States on April 16, 2014. The movie is based on the best-selling book, Heaven is for Real, by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent. The main character, played by Greg Kinnear, is an Overhead Door distributor.

5/2016 – Overhead Door Co. of Indianapolis & Muncie was part of the Habitat for Humanity home build with Arbor Homes in Indianapolis.
3/2016 – Overhead Door is excited to introduce a new smart device enabled garage door controller: OHD Anywhere™. It allows users to operate up to three garage doors from any location, and the app is compatible with most Android and Apple mobile devices.
1/2016 – Overhead Door celebrates our 95th Anniversary!
10/2015 – The Allura™ Shutter is Overhead Door’s newest addition to its commercial line of rolling doors. An attractive alternative to rolling grilles and service doors, Model 653 is perfect for high-traffic pedestrian areas where security and versatility are at a premium.
7/2015 – Overhead Door introduced two new panel designs in the popular Carriage House Collection. The two designs, models 305 and 306, will give homeowners more unique choices for their garage doors.
7/2015 – For the fourth year in a row, Overhead Door Corporation has earned the Women’s Choice Award by WomenCertified® for America’s Best for Home in the garage door category. This award designation is based on a national survey of women who were asked to select the brands they would most likely recommend to others.
5/2015 – Once again, Overhead Door has earned the distinction of being the industry’s No. 1 garage door brand, as determined by Builder Magazine’s 2015 Builder Brand Use Study. Now in its 20th year, Builder Magazine’s Builder Brand Use study is a survey of the nation’s largest homebuilders. It asks participants to rank garage door brands in four categories: brand familiarity, brand use during the last two years, brand used most and quality. This year, Overhead Door took the top spot in three of the four categories: brand familiarity, brand used most and quality rating.

12/2013 – Overhead Door recently won first place in the windows/doors/openings category of Architectural Products magazine’s annual Product Innovation Awards (PIAs). The door that won the award is the Stormtite™ AP Model 627 Insulated Rolling Service Door.
9/2013 – Overhead Door recently introduced a new commercial product—the RapidGrilleTM security grille Advanced Performance Model 676. This system offers advanced performance and meets the demand for higher reliability, durability and efficiency. Ideal applications include: parking garages, warehouses, government facilities, shipping and receiving docks, etc.
